Thank You Wording On Programs Am I Too Old School To Expect A Thank You Card For A Wedding Gift Or Birthday Present?

Am I too old school to expect a thank you card for a wedding gift or birthday present? - thank you wording on programs

My daughter said she had not expected, thank you notes, and if that's what you do, do not want the gift first. She said "Yes!" My question: Am I so shallow?

Unfortunately, many parents have their children do not teach the basics of etiquette. It appears that you have tried to teach her daughter, but the label did not work.

Yes, for those who send a wedding or birthday gift to receive a thank you card.

I think, "Thank you" cards for wedding gifts should be mandatory and are a nice touch for a birthday gift. Unfortunately, rarely, if ever, after one I gave you a gift. What happened to hell courtesy?

Age is a factor of great importance in the development of a simple gesture of gratitude. No offense, but your daughter is probably too lazy to make damn time. Sounds like most of my family "members.

Take the ingrates your supply and give more gifts. Today's generation really needs to learn manners.

The last three weddings I went to a card of thanks from the couple have to ... and I thought it was beautiful. / So I recently attended a party on the first anniversary of my godchild ... Cards, and we are grateful. but his mother is well aware, Kenya, and social courtesy. They grew and were very African children.

I try to always be that my own children, at least call the person WHIO has the gift and say thank you. But I admit that I like to write to his grandmother. and other older relatives.

I think the seniors really appreciate if a child needs to have manners.
